HTCP Level 1 & Level 1 Refresher
E-learning Courses Now Available!
Courses are available to new trainers and trainers renewing their certification. The Level 1 course is comprised of 16 learning modules and the Level 1 refresher is comprised of 8 learning modules. Each requires the participant to successfully complete an examination at the conclusion of the course.
HTCP E-learning option offers:

SPEAK OUT and RESPECT IN SPORT |

ALL Team Officials [Coaches, Trainers, Managers] in HNO must have a minimum of Speak Out or Respect in Sport certification in addition to all other certification appropriate to their position. All participants must be a minimum of 16 years of age to attend a Speak Out! clinic. All Association Executives and Parents are also strongly encourages to attend the program.
Speak Out! Clinic Overview
Speak Out is a 3.5 hour in classroom interactive workshop focused on the prevention of bullying, harassment and abuse in the game of hockey. Clinic curriculum includes:
* Definitions of abuse and harassment
* Responding to disclosures
* Prevention guidelines for coaches
* Showers and locker rooms
* Dressing for sports
* Transporting of participants
* Injured and ill children
* Road trips
* Integrated teams
* Prevention guidelines for playing
* Prevention of harassment and abuse during competition
* Fair Play Codes

Respect in Sport Overview
Respect in Sport Program is an online education program for coaches to assist them in the prevention of harassment, abuse and bullying in sport. The purpose of the program is to impact on attitudes, skills, and knowledge of the coaches that will result in a safe, sportsmanlike environment for all players, coaches, and parents.
Course Length
Respect in Sport Program is only offered online and in a total of 3 hours in length. The course consists of 6 modules, each 30 minutes in length.
